Mac Winget – President

EDUCATION:
Mac graduated from Appalachian State in 2005 with a degree in History. After teaching high school for a few years and working as a metal fabricator, he joined the SEAS team in the summer of 2007 where Tom Rochester taught him to combine his passion for teaching and desire to build.
HOBBIES AND FAMILY LIFE:
Mac is a native Charlottean, growing up in the Steele Creek community on his families beef cattle farm where he learned the value of family, community and hard work. He enjoyed working on the farm alongside his grandfather, father and brother; and later in life, his father in law. It was on the farm that he developed his passion for mechanics, the outdoors, and welding. He continues that love of metal fabrication through his work at SEAS and at home, his love of tinkering with farm equipment, and tractor restoration. Mac now calls Clover, SC his home. He enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Megan, his daughter, Mary, and son, Wyatt. He is an active member of Steele Creek Presbyterian Church at Pleasant Hill, in Lake Wylie, SC, where he serves on the Session. He also serves on the board of Charlotte Rescue Mission for the CM Café. On the weekends, he enjoys spending time with his family, bird hunting, or working on one of the endless projects on their farm in Clover, SC.

Drew Rochester – Vice President

8 years with Southeastern Architectural Systems, primary focusing on Architectural and Design development. I have worked on both the project management and material sales sides of the business throughout my career. I enjoy collaborating on preconstruction and project execution with our team.

I enjoy traveling and spending time with my wife, Shelley and my daughter, Eleanor. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors, golfing, running, and bird hunting.

Fabricating in his home shop, Farming, Mountain biking, Spending time with his Wife Alexa and 3 kids (Alaina, Rowan, and Uriah). Involved with Pleasant Hill Church in Lake Wylie SC.

Martin Hovis – Director of Pre-Construction
Gastonia, NC
EDUCATION:
Martin graduated from North Carolina State University in 2009. After joining SEAS in 2013, he has continued to grow our Contracting business with projects focused on exterior and interior custom fabrication solutions and oversees projects from concept design to closeout. Martin also manages our pre-construction department with the assistance of our PM team and Project Coordinator.
HOBBIES AND FAMILY LIFE:
In his free time, Martin enjoys camping, working on his farm, and the occasional clay shoot. He is married to Jenni, and they have two sons together, Thornton and Wells.

Gray Rochester – Project Manager

Worked for Balfour Beatty Construction as a field engineer, I work on the operation side of the business and oversee projects from design through completion of construction activities. I am OSHA 30 trained and crane rigging certified.
I have recently started to help with SEAS Community Involvement/Outreach Program we will be rolling out this year. Myself and Abby Chidester will be putting together community service opportunities.

Cory Huneycutt – Project Manager

EDUCATION:
Degree in Construction Management from Western Carolina University (2010- 2014)
Started in construction when I was 16 laying brick after school and on the weekends. Took a full time position in sales upon graduation from WCU. In 2016 I accepted a Project Managers position in Commercial Construction. Came to SEAS in April of 2020 as a Project Manager.
HOBBIES:
I spend every available weekend hunting with my friends, family and bird dog Xane. I also enjoy shooting sporting clays, and working on my farm.
FAMILY LIFE:
Married to my beautiful wife Christina 4/9/16. Expecting our first child/ son Ellis on 4/24/21. Christina and I attend our local church, Bear Creek Reformed Church.

Forrest Shaw – Project Manager

EDUCATION:
He recently moved to the Charlotte area from Richmond, Virginia where he went to school at Randolph-Macon College and began his career in the construction industry. Forrest is a Project Manager for SEAS, with previous experience in Sales, and residential project management.

Katy Ray – Pre-Construction & Project Coordinator

EDUCATION:
Katy is a 2016 graduate from Appalachian State University with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. She began at Southeastern Architectural as a summer intern and joined the team full time in August 2016. Katy is the wearer of many hats at SEAS with her efforts concentrated on the contract side of the company. She handles all submittals, safety documentation, drawing review and take offs, as well as proposal building and estimating.

When she is not in the office, she enjoys working out, baking, and being in the outdoors with her husband, Patrick, and their two dogs, Boone and Abby.

Emma Branton – Pre-contruction Assistant

Austin Claytor – Material Sales Manager

EDUCATION:
Graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in International Business. He began his career as a project manager for SEAS during the start of the contract division, supervising custom metal installations. His attention to detail led him into equipment sales in the manufacturing industry. With his experience gained as a metrology sales rep, Austin returned to SEAS to grow the material sales team in 2019. With a decade of experience in sales, his skills include business development, technical assistance and creating partnerships with manufacturers and customers to ensure successful projects.

Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, mountain biking and traveling.

Lynn Hybarger – Material Sales Support
Smyrna, SC
EDUCATION:
Lynn attended Clemson University and has an M.S. in Civil Engineering – focus on Project Management. She has worked in the CE field as a scheduler, inspector and in the project management field. After a time of “being a mom” she went back to work in the recruiting industry and worked in Charlotte with local manufacturing companies for temp and direct hire placements and work force management. She came to work with SEAS in 2017 in a customer service/HR role that included accounting. She moved into the Material Sales support role in 2020.
HOBBIES AND FAMILY LIFE:
Husband, Chris and has 3 children, Garret, Cole and Samantha – and a dog, Daisy. Hobbies include gardening, yoga, walking, being outside and anything that involves her kids. Her family is the most important thing to her.

Jim Hale – Owner of Rainscreen Resources

Jim Hale has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. He is the owner of Rainscreen Resources, and has been a business partner of SEAS for the past 15 years. His focus is rainscreen claddings and continuous insulation solutions.
EDUCATION:
Jim is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Charlie Wynne – Superindentent

EDUCATION:
Charlie graduated from Clemson University in 2010 with a degree in Forest Resource Management. He began his professional career as an environmental consultant, specializing in the pre-construction processes related to streams and wetlands. He then joined a GC, which led him to California, and the construction of Apple Campus 2. Returning to the Southeast, where he worked on the construction of a 26 story high rise, which ultimately gave opportunity to his home here at SEAS.

When he is not at work, he enjoys being outdoors, his boat, and Clemson football.

Eric Davis – Superintendent
Clover, SC
EDUCATION:
AAS Automotive Engineering Technology/ AS Cyber and Network Security. ASEP student to lead automatic transmission specialist for General Motors Corp. Served in Afghanistan as a field radio operator during Operation Enduring Freedom for the USMC. Completed fiber optics training, Intelligent Transportation System course and worked as a Forman for the I77 express lanes. Provided logistic support for SEAS before getting promoted to Superintendent.
HOBBIES AND FAMILY LIFE:
Happily Married to my beautiful wife Kailey and father of daughter Morgan and son Cameron. We enjoy spending time together at the beach, mountains and sporting events. Currently have 2 dogs, Bella and Shelby I enjoy helping SEAS with community outreach. Providing food and supplies for the one who are less fortunate. I’m a follower of Dr. Don Wilton, Senior pastor for First Baptist of Spartanburg, SC.

Greg Smith – Logistics Coordinator
North Carolina native, raised in Cherryville, and currently resides in Clover, South Carolina.
EDUCATION:
25+ years in the automobile industry, with the last 10 years serving in a logistics position that took him all over the country. He has vast knowledge and experience with automotive painting and body work that is a valuable asset in his role at SEAS. As the logistics coordinator, he is on the front lines for SEAS from a quality control perspective.

When he isn’t working on one of his own custom cars, you can find Greg at a car show with his beautiful wife Misty, and son Dylan. He is an active member of New River Church in Lake Wylie, South Carolina.
